What does 'show' look like

and could I have a show at 34 weeks. Ive just been to the loo and there was quicte a lot of clear jelly when I wiped myself - could this possibly be a show?

Mine was clear jelly. A little light brown colour through it, parts of it, it was about 3 inches long and an inch or a bit more wide. I think you should call the midwife. I couldn't imagine it could be anything else...

and I guess you caould have a show at 34 weeks, it's just the mucous plug coming away, which I think it can do at any stage.

it could be discharge if it wasnt coloured, mine was like a yukky brown!

Sounds like part of the show. I remember with my first, I thought I'd had the show in the early morning, and it was a small amount of jelly but when I actually went into labour about 18 hours later (not meaning to say you will btw), I remember saying to my DH (OOh, now THAT's the show) and it was a much larger amount (like brambelina) and quite heavy. I would call the midwives to tell them particularly as you are 34 weeks.

Ive been looking in my books and it never mentions the show being clear - could i be mistake?

My show was clear jelly but it had little tinges of pink in it.

Mine was clear jelly and kept coming. Later on it was slightly blood streaked (when contractions picked up pace). I'd speak to your MW if it keeps coming as it could be a show.

Ive had more (smaller bits) over the weekend but still no blood stains at all. The cramps are coming and going, quite a few yesterday non this morning and then they started up again this afternoon. Ive got the mw appt on Wednesday so will mention it then unless anything happens before then
