If you HAD to place a bet, how long would you say I have to go? Am currently in very early labour... I think...

I am 38w6d pregnant with DC2 and started having mildish, intermittent contractions on Saturday. Since then they have become stronger and more frequent and have been about once every 15 minutes for the last 24 hours, but they don't seem to be showing any signs of getting more frequent at the moment, though my back pain is getting worse.

I haven't had a show and my waters are still intact, but I didn't have much of a show with DC1 either. This is very different to DC1 as that time my waters broke before I went into labour and had to be induced.

I am very, VERY keen to see this labour progress ASAP. So come on, I know that no one really knows what's going to happen but from that description when do you think it might get going a bit more seriously? A day? Two days? Please don't tell me a week or more...

Born at midnight on Halloween would be very cool.

Connie is a fab name - 8lbs 15ozs is a good size! Hope you and she are recovering well.

Grannylipstick · 01/11/2013 21:56

My favourite girls name. My son would have been called that if he'd been a girl. He's nearly 16 now. Congratulations to you.

Thurlow · 01/11/2013 21:58

Connie! That's a beautiful, beautiful name Smile Congrats!
