Passing membrane 5days pp

The title says it all really. Found a piece of membrane on my pad 5 days pp. saw the MW today and she said my uterus had contracted down really well. I have no temp, feel fine.
Do I need to worry about retained placenta or something?

Not a medical professional but I was told anything bigger than a 50p piece was worth checking out. Have you got a thermometer to keep a proper eye on your temp?

I have, and it's fine, but I do have a really achy lower stomach which is affecting me walking a bit Hmm
Will ring the MW this morning.

Did MW help?

How are you op?

sillyoldfool · 28/10/2013 07:01

Sorry for not coming back.
I had an infection, and was still bleeding too much, so was sent from MW to GP to blood tests.
I'm on a course of very strong antibiotics, and lots of iron tablets. Seeing the GP again today.
Thoroughly recommend anyone else that experiences this seeking help ASAP, even if you feel fine, I quickly went from fine to awful, luckily I was already in the system and got antibiotics quickly, if I'd waited it could have been much worse.
