Will they want me to have a repeat section? I think I tore my wound 7 months after first cs:-(

I went to my GP as I am convinced I tore my csection wind due to intense exercise. It was my first session of gym work since giving birth (7months) (blush) and I think I overdid it. I was rowing and I actually felt a ripping in the area of my wound and a few days bleeding followed.

I went to the doctor as I was worried but she didn't seem particularly concerned.

I have now discovered I'm a couple of weeks pregnant - will they push for another section?

Fist baby was section as breech if that is relevant.

Any advice?

I'm expecting DS2 in February and had a c-section for DS1 due to him being breech. There has been much effort to persuade me to try VBAC but I have insisted on c-section again (won't bore you with the reasons why).

My section is booked in already so I would say that have a chat with your midwife and consultant (if, like round here, you're in with a consultant due to previous section) and see if there's a specific medical reason to go down one route or the other due to your suspicions re the wound damage, but otherwise I guess the choice will pretty much be yours.

Hope you get it sorted whichever way you prefer Smile
