I would phone your MW and maternity unit for advice.

Seems to me it won't be long until you have a baby in your arms

LilacWine · 29/06/2006 16:33

my contractions were a lot worse when i went to the toilet. and my show came away in bits.

CarolinaMoose · 29/06/2006 16:35

ooooooh how exciting!

It does sound like a show, and early contractions.

Phone the labour ward/your MW if you are worried, but otherwise I would get some rest and make sure your hospital bag's packed

southeastastra · 29/06/2006 16:36

sounds like contractions! good luck

expatinscotland · 29/06/2006 16:37

if they're painful enough to make you stop what you're doing, they are contractions.

sarahsbump · 29/06/2006 16:45

Thanks all, have just rung the mw and she said it could be early labour and to take some paracetamol and see if anything kicks off and ring them back in a couple of hours
I just hope this is it
