Am on antibiotics for urine infection and am in some pain but it is not too bad. GP says it could cause early labour, anyone else had this? Don’t think I’ve had any signs of labour as yet.

I want to go for ELCS, not had their agreement yet, but my 34 week consultant appt got cancelled and I have one booked in next week (I will be over 36 weeks). Am so worried I will go into natural labour before I even get the chance to talk to them about it. Anyone else had this situation, any advice?

If you aren't showing signs that's good. If they thought you were at risk they would have sent you to delivery suite for swabs. I am on my 12 uti this pregnancy been in hospital on iv antibiotics each time. I'm currently 33 weeks and being released on a low dose of ab until I deliver. If the pain and infection is under control don't worry and call you select suite of you have any concerns x
