I am seriously contemplating ttc - but after 2 quite mental emergency sections part of me is feeling a bit chickenConfused. Any one had an elective after a similar experience? I guess it's a big difference if you walk in calmly, handbag under arm? Had 2 in the royal free- seemed ok...they do a lot, so should be good at it?

Hi, I have just had section number 3 - all three being elective and all three being fine. The only hiccup was me going faint when they were trying to get the spinal in ( but that was from being crunched up too much). When they started the op all was good and recovery has been really quick. I think maybe because the whole area has a certain numbness after the last sections! Go for it.

I had my 3rd section 3 weeks ago, was supposed to be elective but DD decided to come early so it was an emcs but much less of an emergency than the other two iykwim!
It was fine, v chilled out and I've recovered well, even with two others to look after!
