Morning Wise Ladies

My waters broke last night and I went to hospital for assessment. No contractions so was sent home. I had some sleep and woke this morning still with no contractions.

What are the chances of me going into labour naturally before they offer me an induction tomorrow morning? And is there anything I can do to encourage contractions to start?

Thank you Smile

Hi hetty. I have no useful advice just wanted to bump. Same happened to me and induction followed two days later... Not sure you can do any of the usual things like dtd due to risk of infection.

Maybe walking?

Sorry... Good luck!!

I'd definitely suggest walking, walking, walking. If you manage maybe going up and down some stairs? I had terrible spd so if someone had suggested that to me I wouldn't have been able to do it, but hopefully that's not the case for you. Good luck, exciting!

Second walking and being as mobile as possible. Bouncing on a birthing ball may also help to get things moving - good luck!

Don't know statistically, but my waters went at 36+3 and I was told I had 3 days to go into labour before they induced. I was in established labour less than 12 hours later and had DD at 36+4, so there is hope!
