I had both of my babies in Ninewells and they were great both times. Don't know anyone who has been to Kirkcaldy so cant help you there.

It's a new maternity unit at the Victoria and its meant to be fab, I would pick there.

Where about are you?

I just had dd2 in ninewells 5 weeks ago, they were fabby :) I've had all 3 dc there over 8 years and not had any problems.

Good luck and congratulations Flowers

I had mine in labour suite but my friend has been in the maternity unit and loved it - she said they are a bit lentil weaverish but very calm and placcid. I prefered labour suite so I could have a blether and a bit of banter

I've heard good things about nine wells. Forth park used to be maternity hospital in Kirkcaldy and it was beyond dire and have heard terrible reports of the care received so I'd personally go with nine wells.

Actually I had both of mine in Forth Park and wouldn't fault it. The new Victoria maternity unit has private rooms if that makes any difference.

I had my 3 daughters in ninewells and had a great experience . My twins were in scbu for almost a week and then a transistional ward . I couldnt fault our care at all .

I work with newborns, mostly born at the vic have heard awful stories about the new hospital .. So I'd go with ninewells xx
