tmi info but trying to get hold of midwife for advice to no avail...i had ds by cs nearly 3 weeks ago. lochia ended after a week. I lost more than avarege amount of blood during procedure but didn't need a blood transfusion. Today while in Tesco of all places i began to bleed bright red blood quite heavily just over a hour ago. Up until then was feeling fine if a little tired after dd 2.4 was up all night as well as ds. I got the 'chills' but after taking paracetamol and getting into bed feel less feverish. Poor dh...mad dash home and he is now looking after dd...
Is this something to be concerned about or just a sign of over doing things?

Bleeding plus fever is worrying, you could have an infection. If you can't get hold of a midwife, you need to call your local OOH doctors.

I would call ooh asap, best get it checked out x

I had something similar to this. When I started doing more, the bleeding started up again heavily. Ooh GP said it was normal but took a swab which came back clear.
It died down after a couple of days rest.

Shopping at 19 days post cs is quite a lot on your recovering body.

I've just remembered I had a big 'flood' post section but I didn't feel ill or feverish.

Feeling feverish is worrying. Can you get to see someone today?

Ring delivery ward, and seek their advice.
