My first baby was born 3.5 years ago with forceps due to making no progress in coming out after 1.5 hours of pushing. I thought this was due to the fact that she was my first, I had an induction and epidural, was on my back while pushing and generally exahusted. However, I am pregnant again now and after examination I have told that I have a funnel shaped pelvis, larger at the top but narrow at the exit, meaning that labour procedes well but baby likely to get stuck and need to come out either by foceps again or emergency CS. Has anyone else have the same problem? And if they attempted a vaginal birth, how did it go? thanks
