I'm not sure if this is the right place to talk about this as I'm new! But.... Just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem or abit of advice.. I had my daughter 2 years ago and had a 3rd degree tear (forceps at 8cm) anyway.. 2 years later im still VERY loose down there, iv done/do pelvic floor exercises all the time, and tried things like jiggle balls but doesn't seem to make a difference. Really starting to get me down! Blush

Hi, I had similar intervention and I don;t have any issues with being loose. I think this is predominantly down to an amazing repair job immediately after the birth.

If I was you, I would ask my GP to refer me to the consultant at the hospital to check everything was repaired properly and to request corrective work if not.

I agree with GeppaGip. I had a 3a tear (forceps too). I was taken to theatre immediately after the baby was delivered and stiched up for about an hour and half. They did a very good job and I am ok now. If you are still having problems after 2 years despite pelvic floor exercises, you may need some corrective surgery to put it right. I would go to the GP and ask to be referred. Good luck!
