lochia q (tmi warning)

Any medics or personal experience who can help with the following please?
I had a c section on the 19th, bleeding for a few days after then the watery pinky lochia but everything stopped on day 7. Now i just get brownish ewcm when i wipe. Is this normal? Now day 10...after my last emcs 2 years ago i had lochia for 6 weeks so rather mystified. Not complaining but worried this is too little time....any advice?

I can't remember exactly but I was pretty similar to that. It was like a heavy period for about three days then after about another week it had gone to just a bit of browny sludge on the toilet tissue. I have a friend who was v similar so I think it can be normal but as ever, if in doubt, go and see your MW / GP.

After a cs mine came and went for about six weeks. And it definitely had a brown gunk phase. So it sounds normal but always worth getting checked out if you're worried.

If it helps I had vaginal birth and was done with bleeding after 7 ish days, was like a really really heavy period, then pinkish discharge. Bled if I over exerted myself but only a little. Id stocked up a massive amount of maternity pads preparing for weeks of bleeding. At least I've got a stash available for next baby!

I had a vaginal birth ( Ds2 now 11 weeks ) i bled for 4 days before totally stopping, then on day 7 i had a brown discharge, like at the end of a period, for a few days.

I've had less bleeding after my second cs but I lost more blood during the op. apparently sometimes they can suck out loads of it at the time. lovely
