Wet patch after sweep. Waters?

Hi, I had a sweep this morning at 40+11 and 15 mins after, I sat down outside to wait for my lift. When I got up I noticed a large wet patch on the back of my trousers and pants. (The chair I sat on wasn't wet, as I initially thought!)

I went back in and asked the midwife and she said it could be waters breaking but to go home, put a pad on, and see if any more comes out, and if so ring the hospital.

The pad is dampish but not as wet as my trousers were earlier. I am just wondering if this sounds like waters breaking? I have already been at the hospital last week with poss waters breaking which turned out to be a watery discharge. This was much more wet than that was but as I say, nothing much since. Has anyone else had this after a sweep?

I had that kind of amount of wettness when i was induced and they said that was fore waters - labour kicked in and I had baby 14 hours later once they broke my waters again?? but this time it was a niagara falls type of incident!!

Thanks. Have called the hosp after an afternoon of not much more than discharge and they've said if the pad hasn't been soaked this pm then it's fine to wait til tomorrow to come in for my induction (joy!).

Hopefully labour will kick in between now and then!
