Firstly - OUCH!

Am 36+1 and have had period type pain pretty much all day so far. It's pretty much constant, no peaks or lulls and is not accompanied by tightenings.

Yesterday and last night I was having very strong but painless BH.

No waters yet or a conclusive show but I have been getting quite a bit of sticky stringy stuff when I wipe.

Have also got backache.

Baby is moving well and powerfully.

DS wasn't like this, had a few vague pains then woke up at 3am in full blown active labour, slept right through the build up.

What do you guys reckon? I'm an hour and a bit away from the hospital so am loathe to call or go in unless I get something conclusive!

It's worth getting checked out especially as you're only 36+1. I imagine they'd want you to go in, which will be a bit of a trek but definitely worth it!

I would get checked out, sounds like it might be a potential bladder/kidney infection to me.

Bentley - I'm already on Anti-B's for a UTI, was picked up at the weekend, maybe that's what it is then!

I called. the hospital and they said no need to go in unless I leak etc.
