My GP told me the 6 week check was only for baby, so there is effectively no check for me. Is this usual? With DD1 I remember being examined, they asked how I was etc., but it was a different surgery.

Pretty standard. My youngest dc is 5 & i wasnt offered a post natel check. My gp just asked if i was ok...!

I had mine yesterday. I got weighed, and congratulated on being back to Pre-pregnancy weight. I pointed out that I'm not, I'm still a stone heavier. And that was that. Complete bloody waste of time Angry
