Hi ladies I'm 30 weeks +4 I have been pretty stressed lately due to arguing with certain family members etc.

anyway down to the point this morning I Went to the toilet as usual and when I wiped I noticed mucous etc so thinking ok think I lost my plug (this is my second child). Then come downstairs think nothing else of it and then I felt like I had wet myself a little which I knew I couldn't have as I had just been to the toilet so went upstairs checked myself and noticed a big kind of wet patch in my knickers. I never lost my waters with my son (that I can remember) so not 100% sure what it's like but was kind of guessing it couldn't be that as it wasn't a big gush etc. can any ladies please help and hopefully put my mind at rest don't want to phone midwife and feel stupid :s just to point out I have noticed yesterday that
My stomach has gone quite low too.

No one will think you are stupid - I would ring your midwife and get checked out - just tell her the circumstances you've described here.

You have forewaters and hindwaters. Your waters can go with a gush or a trickle. It could also be urine, even though you'd just been to the toilet, baby could have moved and pressed on your bladder. Your bladder often doesn't empty fully depending on baby's position.

Get it checked out by a midwife as there is a risk of infection if labour doesn't occur within a certain number of hours of your waters going.

Yes i agree, best thing to do is just call your midwife and arrange for her to examine you. Just explain exactly what you have done on here.

I could be just a normal amount of mucus and urine but it could also be something else.

Good luck!
