Im 38+6. I can't be the only one who has silly fears such as what if I never go into labour and I stay pregnant forever... or what if my baby gets stuck half in and half out?

Am I the only one this nutty?

Your fears are far more tangible than mine! I'm just terrified, non-specific, but then I'm only 18 weeks maybe that will change. The thing I'm clinging to is the concept that "the only way out is through", half finished isn't an option in this case... That and modern medicine is GREAT. Wouldn't be doing this in the 18th C.

I was absolutely terrified that I was goin to die in childbirth, but it's all consuming and you can't think about anything other than working with your body to get the baby out, other than the occasional look of anger at your dh for putting you in this pain! Lol. Trust me, you won't be worried when you're pushing your dc out into the world x

I think it's a hormone thing. I'm also scared about so many things. My nr 1 silly fear is this one:

We need a bigger car for our 3 children, the baby who's going to be born in September. I and my partner need to fit in it.

I'm scared of getting a car accident with the bigger car. Don't ask why. Like you can't get one with a smaller car.

It's something I'm so scared of. When we have the new car:

  • will it be safe?
  • do we get an accident?
  • if we do will everyone be alright?

No you're absolutely not the only pregnant lady who's being fooled around by her hormones. On some moments it's so bad that I wished I wasn't pregnant. Although I'm so happy with the baby.

Again so silly. Like I'd be able to have this baby without being pregnant. Then at the same time I'm also happy with being pregnant.

I'm now 29 weeks and only 8 weeks to go before I'm 37 weeks and the baby is welcome to come out.
I wish it could last for some more weeks. It's my last pregnancy and it's going to fast. It feels only like yesterday that I had my positive pregnancy test.
