Has anyone given birth at Mayday?

Hi everyone! :)

I'm specting my first child and I'm a bit anxious about giving birth... I have heard a few scary histories about Mayday, and I would like to know if there is anyone there that can tell me something good about that hospital.
Also I'm due on the 14th of October and I have my active birth classes that day!!! Apparently the first day available they had!!! Do you know if there is anything I can do about that?

Mayday is fine. I had DS1 and 2 there (DD at home). Care on the postnatal ward can be hit and miss but I think you get that everywhere TBH.

Can't help about the active birth classes though. You cold try phoning them up and crying :)

If you can avoid having any appointments at Mayday though, that'll be a good idea. I've wasted hours of my life up there and most of my care was done at my GP centre.
