how long will they leave me over my due date before doing a c section?

as i had to have a emergency c section with dd, i know they wont induce me. i am hoping to go for a vbac this time, fingers crossed.
i have 10 days til due date. so just as thread asks, how long will they leave me over my due date before they give me a c section?

i think each hospital/consultant is different, but i have a friend in this exact situation and they will give her 10 days to go over. HTH.

Depends how pregnancy is going TBH. If all is well no need to interfere before 42 weeks

with my 3rd i went 16 days over then delivered spontaniously!

It usually depends on how determined you can be.
They might sayit is hospital policy, but it is still up to you. They can't do anything without your consent.
If you do go over the time limit they give you, you can ask to be scanned to check on level of amniotic fluid and condition of placenta, I think.
If you have only 10 days to go, and they haven't mentioned it yet, chances are they are very relaxed about the whole thing. In my experience, they usually discuss it with you at 36 weeks.
