Hi little help, same here 40 & 1 today :-( was convinced I was going to go early as babs was measuring 3 weeks ahead at all my scans, but nope, here I still am! Had a sweep yesterday, thinking I would be on my merry way last night, again nothing:-( it's sooooo frustrating isn't it?? What dc is this for you??? Hope it won't be much longer for both of us. F

Hello

This is dc2 for me, tried reflexology the other day still nothing

Apart from back ache lol will take myself for a long walk with dogs and hope for the best

My body is such a tease I'm sure when I'm asleep I'm dreaming I'm having contractions very cruel lol

Got sweep booked in for Friday but hopefully won't need it Grin

Aw these last few weeks will fly for you! I think when your in ur last week your clock watching and checking for symptoms all the time lol

I feel your frustration! I'm 40+2 and been getting all the right pains in the right places for weeks now and nothing has materialised... I can't imagine actually going into labour now!
Just been for a walk but it's only left me with an aching pelvis! If only there was something that actually works for kicking off labour - walking, pineapple, sex etc has not made the slight bit of difference. Lets go for positive thoughts instead!

mamachelle · 03/07/2013 12:47

aw, hopefully the reflex was at least relaxing even if it didnt start labour. Do they do a specific late pregnancy treatment?

I will be going down the osteopath route after the baby is born to get 'fixed' lol seriously, hats off to the ladies that have more than 4 littlies, my body feels tired and worn out this time lol!

fingers crossed labour starts for you b4 friday, i sway between leaving baby to its own devices and begging for a sweep at my 40 wk app

i think your right about the clock watching! dd1s b.day is 23rd july and dd2s is the 28th so each morning for the last month i get told how many days are left until each and then how many days are left until baby
comes!

sorry for the rambling! enjoy your walk!

mrfs- crossing my fingers for you too! hope your sweep takes effect soon!
