PS little - I did reflexology last Monday and had a bit of a false alarm tues... Couple hours of mild contractions but then sadly they stopped - assume my body wasn't yet ready but at least something happened?!

Hope you have better luck!

Yes keep me posted good luck!!!

I'm sure acupuncture is more likely to work than reflex but I guess depends how hard and deep they massage :)

Fingers crossed babies soon Grin

How did it go?
Had mine nice and relaxing will see if anything has worked not holding out lol

Underwood2013 · 01/07/2013 22:07

So I did both acupuncture & reflexology today... Doubling up (mainly due to limited appt timings available this week)

Both were good. Acupuncture went fine and she also showed me some acupressure points to have dh push at home, some to help get labour going and some as pain relief during labour.

No movement as of yet but I'm still optimistic... mostly just hopeful!

Accupuncture worked for me, went when I was 41 weeks, they had me do the accupressure points myself loads before and after, started getting dull aches after then baby was born 2 days later.

Thanks for the post Helen - that gives me some hope!!!

No but homeopathy seemed to start labour with dd3 - caulophyllum iirc.

Update... Midwife just came round... Tried to sweep but cervix still closed so she wasn't able to complete the sweep. Had really hoped the treatments from yesterday would make a difference but no such luck... And induction day is creeping up :-(

Fingers crossed something starts happening before Saturday...!
