How to figure out what position baby is in

As title says really. I'm 37 weeks pregnant and a week ago baby was frank breech, I've not felt any distinctive turning movements but bsby does seem to have shifted to a different position. Only thing is I can't tell where and I want to know! I've looked at spinning babies site but I can't really differentiate between kicks and other movements so its quite hard. Any tips?! Or can anyone tell me what a breech baby feels like at this gestation? I remember my dc1 being head down and feeling the head in my pelvis, which I can't now...but then a second baby doesn't engage does it?

Can you feel a firm line down your tummy? I could distinctly feel my DD's spine down my right hand side (she was ROA). That helped work out what the rest was. Then little fluttery hands at the bottom which sometimes felt quite sharp and something big wedged in my ribs either side (bum and feet of v long baby)

how do you know it's breech? 2 community midwives repeatedly told me i was breech. I spent hours doing various exercises to turn her. Had a scan at 37+4 and head down. i never felt a big turn and fairly certain midwife was wrong all along.

I was definitely breech, I had a head in my ribs until recently. I can't feel a line of baby really, if anything I'd guess it was transverse as csn feel large bumps either side, and nothing at bottom or top. But then I think my bump would look weirder if it was transverse. Who knows!

I knew my breech baby had turned when my fanjo got hiccups Grin
