Had dd by elcs 5 weeks Thursday just gone. Started bleeding lightly on Thursday, Friday evening/this morning it is very heavy Shock

Lochia stopped about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks ago, but was not heavy it was just like a normal period.

Is v heavy bleeding normal for 1st period after elcs? Has anyone else experienced this ?

Thanks

I've had an emcs and an elcs, my periods were much heavier after the elcs and took about 6 months to get back to normal. I think it was just hormonal changes and the reaction to pregnancy as opposed to anything sinister to do with surgery.
