If so, how was it?

Any tips to share?

Anything you wish you had bought but didn't?

Oh, and were there bounty reps on the post natal ward?

My birth there was almost 4 years ago, and they were brilliant, but a former colleague birthed there a month ago. No bounty reps, fantastic support, said it was a bit warm and she wished she bought slipper socks and her own pillow!

Thanks so much, RNJ. wonderful to hear you had a great experience, and that your friend did too Grin

They took the syntocinon down after I had an odd reaction and were amazingly calm during my neonatal crash. Even let me push on realising I was crowning as they went to take me to theatre for c/s! Gave me 48hrs after SROM before inducing as I was so uncomfortable.

Once DD was born, because she stabilised so fast on skin to skin, they let her stay with me in delivery room for 3 hours for obs and no trip to NICU, just 24hrs obs on ward. Amazing of them.

RNJ3007 were you consultant-led or midwife-led, if you don't mind me asking?
