HELP....please Smile

I have to pick a hospital and I don't know which one. Booking appointment today.

Royal Berkshire
Basingstoke
or
Swindon

Distance wise, nothing in it. Only con for Royal Berkshire is parking can be an utter pain.

Which hospital is better for an ELCS?

It's a very long story, but DD and I were very badly miss manged (London hospital) And we ended up with an ELCS after everything else failed. It was only after she was born, we were told we should of never tried to have her naturally and should of had an ELCS. I was very upset and really struggled to BF. Even now I still feel sick when I think about the birth Sad

Any advice would be brilliant, thank you.

For some reason I am very scared about my booking appointment Blush

Hi farmersdaughter, I have to decide between these plus JR2! Do you mind me asking what made you choose RBH?

Stiggley · 23/07/2013 22:38

I have just had dd2 at rbh. Emcs. Great aftercare and had to be readmitted so was there for 10 days. Consultant care good too.

Had dd1 at jr2. Consultant care v good for high risk. After care not so brilliant.

Between them hard choice. Poss rbh wins

No idea about Basingstoke

You can change your mind on where to give birth at any point during your pregnancy.

Call both and see if they have open evening where you could have a look around and find out more. Don't feel you need to commit to one or the other early on because you really don't.
