Hello.....

Had baby via section 7 months ago, been EBF and just got first period yesterday and its the heaviest I think I have ever had, like really heavey.....

anyone else had this?

So its normal then......haemorrhage has been one of my biggest fears with birth...

Yes. Bad enough to go running to the GP who told me its normal, and it will be like this from now on. Got back on the mini pill (Yasmin) and all is well.
It was really bad, like I had become a blood fountain, and it did disrupt normal life too. So no you are not alone.

I was on the mini pill for a coule of years after the first couple of periods, and then went off to TTC. They weren't as bad as the first post baby one! So don't panic that they will always be like this, mine went back pretty much to normal after my stint on the pill.

Normal labour here, but periods have become ridiculously heavy (although shorter) since (over a year since 1st period came back now). Horrendous!
