It's all gone quiet!!
I'm 39+5, had a bloody show this morning and several contractions. They were irregular but still. Then went in for a sweep (pre-arranged) the midwife gave a score of 4, she said cervix was posterior but she walked it forward and said she managed to do a good sweep, it was stretchy and on the way to 2 cm dilated.
And now (3 hours later) it's all gone quiet! No more contractions. Is that weird? This is 2nd baby and this weekend would be quite convenient for labour to start!
