Am 41 weeks today. Have been having contractions since 2am. They are now every 6 minutes and lasting around 50 seconds.

Have managed to sleep between 3 and 5 and haven't woken DH yet.

2nd baby. Don't want to leave it too late as I have to get into Oxford and it could be rush hour!!!! Eeeeek!

Sounds like it. Exciting! Don't wait too long - I went with mild contractions 10 mins apart (second baby) and he arrived within 2 hours.
