Will I be allowed a c section with dc3?

I had a EMCS with dd1. She got stuck and after hours of labour and an hour of pushing I was taken to theatre. She was too high up for forceps so I had an EMCS.

I decided to try a VBAC with dd2. She also got stuck. I was pinned to the bed throughout labour (despite the consultant saying I would be allowed to be mobile) and I felt I was ignored when I told the midwife that I thought the baby was stuck. By the time I was taken to theatre, I was bearing down and the anesthetist couldn't get an Epidural in so I was in agony with no pain relief other than gas and air (which I was only allowed once in theatre despite begging for it on the delivery suite). Eventually dd2 was delivered by forceps after some pain relief gel (I think) was applied. I was very badly cut and took months to heal, much longer than I did I recover from the EMCS that I'd had with dd1.

I am scared of going through all that again so will I be allowed to have a C section do you think?

Yes. I had a traumatic birth with DC1 and when I went for my booking in appointment with DC2 the midwife said having a CS under those circumstances would not be a problem at all. I took DH with me to that appointment because I was expecting a battle but the midwife was very understanding and I was referred to a consultant. When I saw the consultant, it was the same story again. Very understanding and helpful, and absolutely no pressure to attempt another vaginal birth.

I did feel pressure with dd2 to attempt a VBAC. I was referred to a consultant because of the EMCS WITH dd1 and she was very keen for me to have a VBAC.

Thats what is worrying me. That will consider dd2 a successful VBAC and expect me to do it again.
