39 weeks tomorrow, cant walk because of agonising SPD i need this baby (my 3rd) out!
I bought some clary sage today and had a bath in it, massaged it onto my bump, and sniffed it off a tissue...

Baby is not going to come until it is ready. Sorry - I know that is not what you want to hear. There are lots of old wive's tales re getting labour started eg ginger tea, spicy food etc. By all means try them, but in all honesty you are probably just as well relaxing in front of the tv for a week or two.

Somanymiles is right. i was like u r now with my 4 th baby. i tried everything including copious amounts of Clary Sage. DS4 was still overdue (like the other 3) and was induced like the other three. in hindsight. i wish i had just relaxed for since he was born 14 months ago i havent stopped.
Good Luck xx

I understand! I have spd and am in tears most days with it now. 20 weeks of increasing pain and immobility takes its toll.

There is very little we can do about it except keep telling ourselves its not forever!

poor u cupcake. Its a nightmare and Im not sure people always understand how debilitating it is...

I've been pointed towards evening primrose oil to help ripen your cervix and at least encourage your body to be ready when baby makes a move. It has mixed reports and i have no idea if it works but at least I feel like I'm trying.

It will be over soon. The final weeks of anything always drag out.
