My DDIL is being induced tomorrow, as DGS2 seems reluctant give up his comfortable abode. DGS1 arrived naturally a few days early. Tell me this is an everyday occurrence, and that I'm too old to be worrying so much!

This is an everyday occurrence and you are absolutely not old but worrying too much.

I was induced with my second DC at almost 42 weeks. It was ok. Honestly, she'll be fine.

Was induced at 42 weeks with dd1 and all was fine. X

I was due to be induced at 11:30 at 40+14. I ended up taking myself in at 10 that morning already in labour so there's still over 12 hours for him to get himself sorted out and come out of his own accord.

I've been induced 4 times for being well overdue, all was fine - no other intervention, no stitches required Smile

I was induced at 42+4 with ds1.

Was all very quick and uneventfully. Hope your dgs arrives soon!

Thank you so much, all of you. She's 400 hundred miles away, so I'm heading off first thing to look after DGS1 while she's in hospital. Will stop worrying, and let you all know how things work out
