Anyone had any experience of childbirth at the new maternity unit at Cossham, Bristol?
Good? Bad?

I know someone who had a baby there recently. She had a lovely experience.

Must be better than the hellhole that is St Michael's not labour ward but induction and post natal wards are dreadful I couldn't get out quick enough

I second the above. Delivery suite is amazing, couldn't fault them but was moved about an hour after I'd had the baby. Stuck in the induction suite for three days, started bleeding and they just panicked. Discharged myself very quickly after birth.

I haven't given birth there but have had a look around and it's lovely! Like a hotel! The midwives seemed lovely and when we were there it was almost empty, very quiet and shiny and new :)
