I had this a few weeks ago at 32 weeks. It was contractions & shortly after they started I had a "show". I was admitted to hospital a few hours later. Just keep an eye on how frequent they are, how intense & if you have any bleeding or other worrying signs or call the MW straight away. It could just be BH at this stage as that's what they can feel like. Take it easy and any further concern at all don't be afraid to call & ask!

Could be ligaments stretching, could be labour but if the pain has been around for a little while you need to check things with your midwife especially at 36 weeks. Hope you feel better soon x

P.s. its best not to wonder 'what's wrong' and get some proper advice x

Difficult to say but if your dates are out (?) Don't panic, sounds more like stretching pains and I say this as it feels like my unborn DD is poking her way out of my cervix!

Na my dates are spot on because i had a miscarriage just before i caught with this one (long story), how it is just stretching pains, aww bless her :)
