I'm 40+4 with dc3 and after another long walk today, been having strong Braxton hicks, pain in back and bump so maybe the start of things kicking off...everytime I get 1 of these tightenings, it literally feels like my waters are bulging and are goin to pop! I think I remember a similar feelin when in labour with dd1. Did anyone else get this just before goin into or while in labour?!

I never felt them. But with dc4 EVERY time I was examined (with small problems) the midwives would say my waters were so bulging they didn't know how they were still intact! At 40+4 I was induced. Midwife broke said bulging waters. 5 minutes later, after no pain, feelings, nothing, I could feel the pressure of ds head! Cue 1 panicked midwife telling me not to push as she wasn't ready! Screams down the corridor for help! I think those bulging waters were the only thing keeping ds head up inside me!
