I'm 40+8 with first baby and hoping for home birth. Been having period type cramps on & off since 4am with the usual braxton hicks. I've not had a show & waters still intact. Had a failed examination on Thurs due to posterior cervix. Could this be early labour? Really hope so as I'd like to avoid a sweep booked for Tues.
