Regular uncomfortable contractions at 31 weeks

I'm 31+3 and since 2pm I've been having regular uncomfortable BHs. Not really painful but intense pressure, baby pushing very low, bump tight. The pressure is baking me feel quite sick. Some last ages (around 2 mins) others are quicker.

I called the midwife who just said to call back if I got period pains.

This is my third pregnancy and although I've had BHs before I've never had anything as frequent or uncomfortable as this.

I just wondered when a BH becomes worrying. I'm home alone with the kids secant actually get checked right now even if I could persuade the midwife it was necessary.

Oh yes, I remember these being unnerving. Here's a link to a some NHS advice - the last section covers when to seek (or demand) medical attention. Hope they ease off soon!
