24 week vbac consultant appt....

Just had this and they didn't have any of my notes from ds1 birth. Have left feeling a bit non the wiser really. Should I be bothered or be happy to wait until next one at 36 weeks.
I don't know a huge amount about what happened with ds1 regarding active labour stage as was neglected until fully dialated ao i doubt there are any notes up to this point....but it resulted in Scbu for a short while.

Feel a bit lost about it all at the mo

I had a vbac, although my section was arranged in advance as my dc was breach and his growth had slowed. So I didn't go into labour with dc1. Didnt want to read and run though.

In our area they have a drop in pregnancy clinic at hospital each week, if your area offers this then maybe pop in. Or call your midwife. I can understand this being a worrying time, given what you went through before. If you're worried, it's a long time to wait.

I just can't believe they weren't prepared with my notes..... Thought the whole point of an appointment with a consultant was to discuss why and what things went wrong last time.
I don't ever have an appointment for me or Ds without some hiccup. Usually turning up for referrals and then being told they have no record of any appointment this is yet another on a very long list. Hospital recorded the wrong dob for Ds which I still think may cause a few issues with NHS computer systems.... I honestly can't think why they're so fecking unorganised all the time
Think I should just go to a field and scream this dc out to avoid any hospital or associated staff grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Im so sorry it's been so awful but the bit about 'screaming the child out' did make me .

It must be sooo frustrating. I havent got anything useful to add really, except maybe shoving it all in an email and trying to find someone who you can complain to. Maybe another mumsnetter might have a better idea of what you can do.
