I had a midwife appointment this morning and got another sweep (41 weeks today). Midwife says that I'm already 5cm dilated but obviously not in active labour probably due to the baby's positioning (sort of side on/back to back).
She suggested I spend the rest of the afternoon crawling on my hands on knees to encourage baby to move into a better position and she believes that I will probably have this baby tonight or tomorrow! I've been in slow labour for over a week with strong braxton hicks and period type pain but nothing has been regular or gaining in intensity.
I was just wondering if anyone had been in this situation and how long before active labour started?
