How long we're you in hospital after? Could you breastfeed? How long until you could get out and about comfortably? And finally how long until you were 100%? Jeez, think that covers it!! Any experience would be appreciated!

I had an ELCS under a general anaesthetic with my DD in October. It was an amazing experience. I was able to breastfeed as soon as I held DD, I'm still feeding her now. I was home 2 days later, although if I had a ELCS and it all went well again I'd discharge myself after one night. I didn't have much pain at all and have made a fab recovery. I think it wad probably 2-3 weeks before I had better mobility. In all honesty I don't know if I'm 100% recovered as still ache in my pelvis after long walks but think this is more just recovering from pregnancy rather than the c/s.
