Ive just been to my midwife appt at 34 weeks with dc 2, we discussed birth of ds1 and I got quite tearful, in many ways I don't feel my experience was horrific as I hear for some people and now feel a bit silly. The mw recommended and booked me for a consultant debrief of last labour and planning of this one. Has anyone had this and found it useful? Don't want to feel like I'm wasting their time...

If talking about it makes you tearful it must have been traumatic for you so I don't think you are wasting anyone's time.Nice that they have offered you the opportunity.I've just had an unexpectedly complicated hospital delivery and I'm very glad they were able to answer all my questions before I went home.Hope your next one goes well.
