I had finally ddecided against having a c section for dc 3 (for medical condition) consultant wanting to induce me on due date me thinking third induction, hopefully but up and out again the next day for school/preschool.

However dc3 is breech. He has been on the 'diagonal' for some time but this week scan confirmed breech. Flaming Easter holidays are early this year and so if carried out at 39 weeks would be the day chchildren back to school and preschool!!

I have no other help but my childminder is willing to have them extra for this week but just hoping I could have section just a few days earlier to be in holidays or am I deluding myself?

Usually 39 weeks but you can always ask, if a few days earlier will make it much easier for you. They may say no though, there are guidelines advising waiting until 39 weeks generally as risk of breathing problems is higher with an earlier delivery.

Pooh, thought that may be the case. After months of trying to decide what would be best I'm just a grumpy that the decision has been taken away from me. Both dc were back to back/born face up and nothing would shift them so doubt this wee man will be mmoved either. Best save those pennies for big childminder bill Grin
