I just wondered which is safer a VBAC or third section both to mother and baby. Thinking ahead here but I'd be interested to know if anyone has more knowledge than me.

Thanks x

Hi there. I was strongly advised against VBAC for my 3rd pregnancy. Went on to have a 3rd section. I was given the impression it was almost policy at the hospital I was at then. In terms of statistics etc I really don't know, sorry.

VBAC wasn't even an option to me with our 3rd and it was a nice planned experience.

My sister had a third c-section and it was in fact a planned, relaxed and problem - free experience for her. The statistics I have seen very but none seem to be too worrying tbh :) Ask your gp/consultant? Best of luck
