Hello

40 weeks pregnant and just been to the loo (again :)) after wiping (sorry Blush) i noticed a large lump of clear jelly with a brownish thin streak. About the size of a 10p. Does it have to have lots of blood to be a show or can it be more clear?

My first show was the size of a 5p coin and red and jelly like.

Also I have had two bouts of very loose stools in the last hour. This also happended with my first labour.

Someone, anyone, am i close, could it be hours away???

I'd love to say its imminent (sp?) but I did this for a week before dd appeared. Sorry, but good luck Smile

Lact8 - the jelly or loose stools.

I've had the loose stools on and off for two weeks but not two times in such a short time.

Doh Blush

The jelly was for about a fortnight IIRC. The stools for about a week. I ended up going 8 days over, which I know you don't want to hear!

Everyone kept saying to me 'she'll come when she's good and ready' and it used to make me so Angry!! Grin

My DS1 was 17 days late, ds2 a week late, so I'd convinved myself there was a pattern developing and dd would arrive on due date! Ha! But I was irrationally annoyed that she didn't Grin

Did you go over/early/on time with your first labour?

Yeah lots and lots!!!

I have had mild contractions for days now, sometimes they feel like they are really going to take off and then they just die away Angry
