Hi,
I had stitvhed yesterday morning for a 3a tear. Just wondered if anyone could give me some advice about normal sensations when passing wind/bowel movements please. I've had a small bowel movement but it kind of felt like it popped out of my vagina at the last minute, until I did that I'd been passing wind that felt normal but now it sort of feels like it bubbles out through my vagina too. Not sure whether the wind thing is in my head but just wondered if anyone who's been there can tell me if the pooing sensation is right? Am a bit worried and the night midwife here is a bit scary!
Thanks for any help.

I can't remember precisely, but I do recall that everything felt weird for a couple of weeks, and I learnt to pop to the toilet regularly, even for what felt like wind, as my body couldn't really tell me what was about to happen!

But that stage did clear up, and I made a full recovery. Midwife thought I had a 3a tear, surgeon said it was a 3c, and my notes said they did a 3b repair...

I think I had that funny vagina bubble sensation too, thinking about it...

Oh yes, everything felt odd for a few days, maybe more. Almost exactly 2 weeks later, I started to feel normal again.

Thank you! The rational part of my brain said it was probably ok but the rest of me isn't taking much notice of the rational bit at the moment Grin
