Has anyone used these in labour? I can't seem to find much about them but from the little I've heard I think I would like to try them. Any advice?

If you are in the uk it is unlikely. I hadn't heard of them, first google result shows its against NICE guidelines. X

When I was having DD (almost 3 years ago) one of the women on my ward had them. I thought they sounded a good idea when we were told about them at antenatal classes, but she screamed in absolute agony when they did them.

I like the idea of them helping with back pain though

I'm in the uk, but maybe they've stopped doing them?

I'm in the uk and my hospital do them as it was them who mentioned it to me. Just wanted to hear from someone who had had them. Think the nice guidelines are beacuse at the time there wasn't enough research.
