Just want a rant as so fed up. Two days before due day wake up at 4am to a bloody show at 5am contractions start are lasting 30 secs and moderately painful every 12 mins by 8pm they were down to every 8 mins. I go to bed at 10pm sleep through as many as I can I get up at 5.30am today and nothing!!!!!
I've had a couple more small bloody shows, a tender bump and back, feel sickly and tired but that's it. Stopped. Grrrr fed up.

Poor you. It's rotten having to wait it out. My waters went on the saturday morning, didn't meet baby until the wee hours of the Monday. On the plus side, because it was so gradual, the pushing bit was no problem - my body just needed longer to get into it.

Things often happen in the evening / night time when you feel safest and most relaxed. Keep yourself hydrated and get some nice nutritious snacks going to keep your strength up. Rest if you can. Good luck it won't be long before you have your baby. How exciting!
