secondary Post Partum Haemorrage?

Anyone know what's going on? I had a bright red bleed last night after my loss had settled down (baby 1 week old), called the midwife, who made me get the on call gp out (!), who left me a prescription for 2 different types of anti bs and iron tablets, and an instruction to contact my own gp first thing!

What is going on? I'm not losing a huge amount, just like a heavy period, not having pain and don't feel ill!

i had that! thought it had stopped and then about a week later it came back again (this was after about 5 weeks too)
so shouldn't be too worried if i were you.. i started a thread on it too and loads of people had the same thing
