Would you think acupuncture has a better success rate over reflexology? How far overdue were you?

I had both & she only budged when served with an eviction pessary at 40 weeks+12 Grin.

I had acupuncture - I was very fortunate as when I enquired with my GP she said she did it and for free too.

I had about 4 sessions - I was 43 and I refused inducement which they wanted to do on my DD due to royal wedding bank holiday my age.

I have no idea if it helped - how can you tell?? but DD2 arrived just 4 days 'over'

Sorry - I had the acupuncture in the week leading up to due date as I was under lots of pressure to be induced.

best of luck GANGIE!

4 days over is not much you know! Tell your brain that you have a best before date of 2 weeks after edd. And tell all the callers/texters to bog off.

I know it's not much but am under pressure from consultant to book section due to previous section. I have a thread further down about Vbac & baby not engaged Sad

I'm giving reflexology a shot in next couple of days. A friend had it and things started off an hour later. I appreciate that you never know what really works, and no guarantees, but seems a bit more probable than eating curries and a little more relaxing than acupuncture. So, good luck to us all!
