Emotional watching one born every minute

Dc3 is 12 weeks and currently sleeping on my lap as she does most nights and I am absolutely exhausted!

But I am watching one born every minute in floods of tears, on the one hand so relieved I never have to do it again but on the other so sad (almost heartbroken) that I will never experience it again.

To those of you currently pregnant and petrified ( and yes I was third time around yet again) that first moment when your precious baby is put on your chest is possibly the most magical moment you can ever experience. That is what will get you through labour. It is just magical and nothing beats it!

I'm only just able to watch OBEM again - baby is now 8 months old!

I'm desperate for another one. And I can't wait. And there really is nothing like seeing your baby's face for the first time, and realising they are a little person!

I've just watched it (wasn't sure if it was a good idea) but overall found it very positive (used to watch OBEM each week with a grim fascination but it's a different matter now as due to give birth in the next few days)

Am a bit petrified but every positive statement I hear really does help, so thanks for posting Smile

I'm 33 weeks with DC2 and was getting so excited watching it last night, I can't wait for this baby! I know what labour entails, I was wincing a bit, but it's great to be reminded of that amazing moment at the end when it's all over and the baby is finally there, crying and wriggling and real!

Eagleray it's normal to be scared, but honestly it is doable, totally doable. And of all difficult things in the world it's the most worthwhile.
